Patricia A. Burr, age 91, of Bradley passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at her home. 

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Monday, May 11, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Rev. Marcin Michalek will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow at Kankakee Memorial Gardens in Aroma Township.

Pat was born July 16, 1934 in Kankakee, the daughter of Clarence & Loretta (Benoit) Owen. She married Edwin D. Burr on July 10, 1954 at Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais. Pat and Ed celebrated 67 years of marriage before his passing on November 13, 2021.

Pat retired after 32 years of service from JR Short Milling in Kankakee. She volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital, was Vice President of Bradley-Bourbonnais Senior Club, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Bradley. Patricia loved the outdoors. She enjoyed lunch and dinner outings with family and friends. Pat was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley, where she also served as Eucharistic Minister.

Surviving are one daughter, Cheryl Lynn Burr of Bradley and dear cousin that is more like a sister, Judy Lanoue Knickerman of Momence. In addition to her husband, Edwin Burr, Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Joyce Cloone; and one brother, Gerald Owen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to River Valley Animal Rescue, Kankakee County Humane Foundation, St. Joseph Catholic Church, or Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.
