Bernice P. Sicard, age 100, of Aurora, Missouri, formerly of Bradley, Illinois, passed away at 6:10 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Aurora. 

A funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley, Illinois, with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kankakee, Illinois.

Bernice was born September 26, 1925, in Harvey, Illinois, the daughter of Leon and Blanche (Dagnais) LeDuke. She worked as a salesclerk for Sears, Robuck and Company retiring after 25 years. She was a go getter, loved to care for and help people, working in her yard and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley, Illinois.

On February 19, 1944, she married Leo Sicard, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in in Bradley, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1993.

Bernice is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lambert and Randy Blades of Aurora, Missouri; two grandchildren, Aaron Lambert of Phoenix, Arizonia and Gina Schmitz and Robert Taliaferro of Lakeside, California; one great-granddaughter, Amber Schmitz and her fiancé, Matthew Watt of La Mesa, California and many nieces and nephews.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Leon, and Blanche LeDuke; her husband, Leo Sicard; her son, James Sicard; two sisters, Leona Pearman and Jeanette Schultz and two brothers, Clarence and Leo LeDuke.

Arrangements are under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, Missouri.
