Vivian Marie Langevin, age 91, of Bourbonnais passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Presence St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Beaverville. Her grandson, Rev. Dominic Langevin, O.P. will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Beaverville.

Vivian was born July 7, 1926 in Beaverville, the daughter of Paul & Ida Curby Lambert. On January 31, 1948, Vivian married George J. Langevin in Beaverville. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1992.

She had been a secretary at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Kankakee. Vivian was also a homemaker. She enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, and wintering in Bradenton, Florida. 
Vivian was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.

Surviving are four sons, David & Kathy Langevin of Palos Park, Gary & Tricia Langevin of Bourbonnais, Steve & Sharon Langevin of Bourbonnais, and Alan Langevin & Ron Bacon of Toledo, OH; one daughter, Diane Langevin Keller of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sr. Myra Lambert S.S.C.M. of Batavia; three brothers, Leonard Lambert of Bradley, Paul Lambert Jr. of Texas, Francis & Martha Lambert of Martinton; and three sisters-in-law, Rosemary Lambert of Orland Park, Anita Lambert of Beaverville, and Verletta Lambert of Bradley. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by six brothers, Vernon, Leland, Calvin, Roy, Donald, and August; and two sisters, Corrine and Pauline.

Memorials may be made to the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary.
