Theresa DuBois Martin, age 89, of Bradley passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Presence Heritage Village in Kankakee.

Visitation will be held from 2- 6 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Kankakee.

Theresa was born August 29, 1929 in Kankakee, the daughter of Joseph & Martha (Rhode) Grill. Theresa married Adelore “Andy” DuBois on September 2, 1948. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1971. Theresa married Leonard “Shakey” Martin on July 20, 1984, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2007.

Theresa was a homemaker. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls Fan. She volunteered at Presence St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee. Theresa was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters-in-law, Greg & Camille DuBois of Scottsdale, AZ and Thomas & Kim DuBois of Spring Grove; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary & Randy Blanchette of Monticello, IN; five step-daughters- and sons-in-law, Emily Sue & Christopher Clott of Chicago, Deborah & Andrew Bissonnette if Horicon, WI, Michelle & Donald Tobin of Houston, TX, Jennifer & Michael Broadway of Marquette, MI, and Lisa & Norman Styck of Grand Haven, MI; twenty-on grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Albert & Vera Gill of Atlanta, GA. In addition to her husbands, Theresa is preceded in death by one daughter, Jacqueline DuBois; one son, James DuBois; her parents; and two brothers, Barney Grill & Joseph Grill.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley or Presence Heritage Village.
