Margaret L. “Peggy” Gadbois, age 89, of Bradley, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017, at Presence Heritage Village in Kankakee.

Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Liturgy of the word will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais.

She was born September 14, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of William & Louisa Watt Henry. Peggy married Lloyd L. Gadbois on June 23, 1945 in Folkston, GA.

She retired from General Foods Coupon Center. Peggy was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. 

Surviving are her husband, Lloyd Gadbois of Kankakee; four sons and daughters-in-law, Barry & Linda Gadbois of Bourbonnais, Bradley W. & Willa Gadbois of Blaine, MN, Brian J. & Kendra Gadbois of Bourbonnais, and Brandon J. & Lori Gadbois of Bradley; three daughters and one son-in-law, Bonnie A. Thompson of Bourbonnais, Brenda L. Moore of Baytown, TX, and Beth M. & Dennis Bisaillon of Bradley; sixteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Belinda Gadbois.

In lieu of flowers, Peggy said, “buy yourself something nice.”
