Joyce M. Lowery, age 79, of Bradley passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Presence St. Mary's Emergency Room.
Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Burial will follow at Mound Grove Gardens in Kankakee.
Joyce was born April 17, 1939 in Kankakee, the daughter of Homer & Adeline Prochaska Joubert. She retired from General Foods in Kankakee where she worked as a payroll specialist. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Bradley- Bourbonnais Senior Club. Joyce was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Crystal & Tim Young of West Allis, WI and Michelle Still of Little Rock, AR; three grandchildren, David (Amy) Walker of WI, Joseph Walker of WI, and Katelyn Still of Benton, AR; three great-grandchildren, Leyla Walker, Gracie Walker, and Olivia Walker; and her fiance, Orvan St. Aubin. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Gerard Joubert; and her sister, Judith “Judy” Joubert.
