Jeffrey L. Schultz, age 64, of St. Anne, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at Rush Medical Center in Chicago.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation was held as well as a memorial service on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Deacon Patrick Skelly officiated the ceremony. Private family inurnment will be held at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais.

Jeffrey was born November 7, 1958 in Kankakee, the son of Charles & Harriet Smith Schultz. He married Kayla Belisle on January 4, 2003, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Kankakee.

Jeff was partners with his brother, Jon in their business, Schultz Construction. He enjoyed crappie fishing in his jon boat. He loved the Chicago Cubs. Jeff enjoyed playing spades with his friends. He was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed hunting, swimming, gardening, woodworking and reading. He loved having his back scratched. Jeff was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are his wife, Kayla Schultz of St. Anne; his mother, Harriet Schultz of St. Anne; two daughters, Kristen & Scott Lively of Baton Rouge, LA and Taylor & Matthew Fruge of Lake Charles, LA; one step-daughter, Elizabeth & Josh Bilthuis of Buckingham; four step-sons, Jacob Paquette of Kankakee, Micheal & Carly Paquette of Bradley, Gabriel Paquette of Kankakee, and Brendan Paquette of Bradley; one sister, Karen & James Soucie of Glendale, AZ; two brothers, Michael & Susan Schultz of Peoria and Jonathan & Kathy Schultz of Kankakee; two brothers-in-law, Keith & Julie Belisle of Morgan Hill, CA and Kurt & Stacey Belisle of Manteno; one sister-in-law, Dalonda Belisle of Limestone; eleven grandchildren and one on the way, Greyson, Greenleigh, Palmer, Sutton, Hadley, Layton, Lawsyn, Lyla, Riley, Ella, and Camryn. Jeff is preceded in death by his father.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
