Gloria G. Nolan, age 86 of Bradley, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee.
Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. memorial mass on Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park, Greenville, TX.
Gloria was born March 10, 1939 in Chicago, the daughter of Fred E. and Rosemary (Jachnik) Kaysen. Gloria married John R. Nolan, Jr. on June 3, 1967. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1993.
Gloria was a retired employee of International Harvester now known at Navistar. She was a senior companion volunteer for Catholic Charities. Gloria called Bingo and was in charge of the exercise classes and movies for Bradley Place.
Gloria was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she taught religious education and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, John R. III (Christine) Nolan of Georgia; two daughters and one son-in-law, Renee M. Nolan of Romeoville, Rosie (Russ) Schmalz of Bourbonnais; one sister, Fredricka A. Campos of Bradley; one brother and sister-in-law, Ron (Barbara) Kaysen of Melbourne, FL; four grandchildren, Jack Nolan, Robert (Morgan) Schmalz, Rebecca Schmalz, Crystal Campos.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, John; and her parents.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley. Arrangements are by Schreffler Funeral Home, Kankakee.
