Gertrude N. “Gert” Auberry, age 87 of Bradley, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her home. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Kankakee.

Gert was born November 19, 1937, in Kankakee, the daughter of Leo and Rosaleen (Cyrier) Beaupre. Gertrude married Charles F. Auberry on November 19, 1960, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kankakee. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2006. 

She was a retired employee of Sears Catalog Department. She had worked at Samuels Store in downtown Kankakee. Gert was a graduate of St. Patrick High School, Kankakee. She enjoyed bowling and knitting. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley.

Surviving is one daughter, Susan DeYoung of Bradley; three sons, Charles “Jeff” Auberry of Manteno, Mike Auberry of Appleton, WI, Andy Auberry of Bradley; three sisters, Margaret Walters of Momence, Alice Tatro of Georgia, Mary Ann (Jim) Egan of Channahon; two brothers, Ron Beaupre of Harrisburg, John Beaupre of Peoria, IL; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

Gertrude is preceded in death her husband, Charles; her parents; one daughter, Denise Belt; one sister, Claire Kosma; and two brothers, Theodore Beaupre and Thomas Beaupre.
