Dorothy E. Mayotte, age 91, of Bourbonnais, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee.

She was born November 11, 1931 in Bourbonnais, the daughter of Eugene & Anna Lambert Boudreau.

Dorothy married Thomas Mayotte on November 5, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1994.

Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Marc & Nena Mayotte of St. Anne; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Diana & Robert Slick of Monrovia, Maryland and Beth & Eric Helgeson of Manteno; four grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edna & Hiram Mayotte; four brothers, Lambert Boudreau, Roger Boudreau, Thomas Boudreau, and Paul Boudreau; and one sister, Marie Johnston.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Rev. Marcin Michalak will officiate the service. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.
