Mark E. Guimond, age 66, of Kankakee passed away Monday, February 25, 2019, at Palos Hospital in Palos Heights.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial Mass on Friday, March 1, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Rev. Anthony Nugent will officiate the service.
Mark was born April 16, 1952 in Kankakee the son of Armand & Sylvia (Denoyer) Guimond. He was a graduate of Bishop McNamara High School in Kankakee. He enjoyed fishing. Mark was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and adored being their grandpa. He loved his time spent at Tiny Tap.
Surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, Grant & Brittany Guimond of Arvada, CO; one grandchild, Brooks Guimond; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda & Bill Sikora of Plainfield; and good friend, Andre Guimond.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Lee Guimond; and two sisters, Gwyneth Lamb and Sharon Blewett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities. Arrangements by Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais.
