Emile G. Denault, age 98, of Bradley, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at his home. 


Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 9am until the time of the 11am memorial service on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. Deacon Ron Gagnon will officiate the service. Inurnment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kankakee.


Emile was born on December 1, 1926, in Herscher, the son of Alfred and Rosalie (Morin) Denault. He married Betty Milton on November 19, 1957, in Las Vegas, NV.


Emile was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Roper in Kankakee, and he was also a tax accountant. Emile enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, and bowling. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. He was a former member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Kankakee and a current member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.


Emile is survived by his wife, Betty Denault of Bradley; one son, Russell Denault and special friend Mary Boswell of Bradley; one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Daniel Jensen of Bradley; one granddaughter, Nicole Schrettl; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jerome and Carolyn Denault of Bourbonnais, Vernon Denault of Bradley, and Maynard and Barbara Denault of Kankakee; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers and sisters.


Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
