Cheryl L. Geraci, age 78 of Bradley passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the noon funeral service on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Bourbonnais. Deacon Patrick Skelly will officiate the service. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais.

Cheryl was born on December 18, 1944, in Chicago, the daughter of Fred and Helen (Buhrns) Refner. Cheryl married Pietro Geraci on June 24, 1968 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley. Pietro preceded her in death on March 12, 1983.

Cheryl was the Religious Education Director at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone.

Cheryl graduated from Olivet Nazarene College. She was a great mother. Cheryl was very artistic. She loved teaching children about Jesus and was very dedicated to religious education. Cheryl enjoyed reading and literature.

Surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher (Barbara) Geraci of Corpus Christi, TX; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa (Matthew) Salm of Bradley, one brother, Robert Refner of Oak Lawn; four grandchildren, Katie, Abbey, and Sarah Geraci, Jenna Salm; one great grandchild, Kaidyn Geraci; and a large extended family.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her husband, Pietro; one son, Joseph Patrick; her parents; and one sister-in-law, Marian Refner.
