Barbara A. (Landry) Brown, age 84, of Kankakee, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Rev. Marcin Michalek will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais.
Barbara was born July 12, 1937 in Kankakee, the daughter of Richard Landry & Anna Mae (Hayes) Landry.
First and foremost, she was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and puzzles. Barbara was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.
Surviving are one son, Derrick & Kori Brown of Villa Park; one daughter, Debra & Tom Mitsdarffer of Herscher; two sisters, Teresa Trudeau & Randy VanFossan of Bourbonnais and Monica & Duane Behrends of Chebanse; three brothers, Larry & Celeste Landry of Bradley, Tom & Debbie Landry of Tucson, AZ, and Raymond & Ruth Landry of Champaign; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Todd Brown; one daughter, Donna Brown; and one great-granddaughter, Zayla Mitsdarffer.
