Even if you didn’t get your family’s picture taken for the directory … A photo of your family can still get in the book!!

Please share with us an existing family photo to be put in the directory. If it was taken professionally you will need a photo release from that particular company. Click here to download the release form.

If the photo was not taken professionally … Bring it to the parish office or e-mail it to pstorer@stjosephbradley.org.

Make sure all full names that you want to appear in the book accompany your photo.

If you have the photo that was taken for our parish’s last pictorial book in 2004, the St. Joseph centennial directory, (and it still adequately represents your family), you can bring that picture to the parish office without a release … We can easily get the appropriate permission to use that particular family picture.

All photos will be scanned and promptly sent back. Take some time … Find or take a quality family picture and submit it. Please make our parish directory complete with your family!!

Many thanks to the CCW for their beautiful tribute to married life!

With the national divorce rate hovering around 50 percent and the Kankakee County average even higher, the parish Council of Catholic Women decided it was time to recognize and honor married couples and spotlight the holiness of the sacrament of marriage.

After months of planning, the group sponsored an Anniversary Mass July 11 with a nice reception afterward in the parish hall. During the special observance, which was held during the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass, Father Tony invited all married couples to stand and receive a blessing. Click here for the audio.

Mementos, including wedding pictures of parishioners, were displayed at the reception. Those who attended the festivities after the Mass looked at the photos, enjoyed some fruit and punch, reminisced and got acquainted with people around them. It really was a lovely event and a testament to the married couples of St. Joseph’s.

Give Your Sole!!

The St. Joseph Parish Life and Service Commission is collecting “gently used” or new shoes for kids in need in our area.  Please bring your donations to Mass on the weekends of July 24-25 and July 31-Aug. 1. Click here for more details.

Our Appreciation Weekend ... Loads of fun, fellowship and food!!

The parish's annual Appreciation Weekend was held June 12-13. Ministers and volunteers were spotlighted and received special blessings during each of the Masses. Click here for audio of this special blessing. Celebrations in honor of these dedicated men and women were held in the courtyard. (A downpour didn't dampen our spirits ... The Saturday festivities were moved inside the school). Thanks to all who make St. Joseph's that special place for us to meet the Lord. Click here to watch the slide show that was prepared for this event and viewed by those who stopped by the tent! It showcases parish events and celebrations since last year's Appreciation Weekend. The accompanying music is from our parish ensembles and school choir.

Do we have your current e-mail address?

It has come to our attention that we have many incorrect e-mail addresses for St. Joseph parishioners in our database.

In addition, numerous parishioners have yet to include their e-mail addresses in their contact information.

We want to keep the lines of communication as open as possible ...

All parishioners are asked to please send us an e-mail so we can make sure we have your correct address on file.

Please send e-mails to: pstorer@stjosephbradley.org.

Thanks so much for your time!
