Many thanks to the CCW for their beautiful tribute to
married life! |
|
With the national divorce rate hovering around 50
percent and the Kankakee County average even higher, the
parish Council of Catholic Women decided it was time to
recognize and honor married couples and spotlight the
holiness of the sacrament of marriage.
After months of planning, the group sponsored an
Anniversary Mass July 11 with a nice reception afterward
in the parish hall. During the special observance, which
was held during the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass, Father Tony
invited all married couples to stand and receive a
blessing.

for the audio.
|
 |
|
Mementos, including wedding pictures of parishioners,
were displayed at the reception. Those who attended the
festivities after the Mass looked at the photos, enjoyed
some fruit and punch, reminisced and got acquainted with
people around them. It really was a lovely event and a
testament to the married couples of St. Joseph’s. |

Do we
have your current e-mail address? |
|
It has
come to our attention that we have many incorrect e-mail
addresses for St. Joseph parishioners in our database.
In
addition, numerous parishioners have yet to include their
e-mail addresses in their contact information.
We want to
keep the lines of communication as open as possible ...
All
parishioners are asked to please send us an e-mail so we can
make sure we have your correct address on file.
Please send e-mails to:
pstorer@stjosephbradley.org.
Thanks so
much for your time!
