Religious Education

Interested in making a difference in the lives of

the youth of our parish? Consider becoming a

Religious Education catechist!

All members of a community of believers are called to share in

catechetical ministry by being witnesses to the faith.

Catechists continually help students feel comfortable with each

other and develop a sense of belonging.

Catechists for St. Joseph Parish's RE  program are confirmed

Catholics who actively practice their faith.

Ok ... But what do I have to do to get involved?

Pray about it! Is the Lord calling you to this ministry?

Contact the parish Religious Education Office. Email the

coordinator, Melissa Marcotte, mkmarcotte@stjosephbradley.org, or

call the office, 815-937-9340.

A prospective catechist for St. Joseph Parish's RE  program must

sign a release to authorize a background check and participate

in Protecting God's Children, a child sexual abuse prevention

program selected by the Joliet Diocese.
