Pastoral Care

There are accident victims and hospital patients that need blood every day of every year.

The next parish blood drive is scheduled

from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. March 11, 2012

Nervous about giving blood? It's no big deal. Does giving hurt? "Not really," says parishioner Dolores Shalek (left). All you feel is a slight pinch for a few seconds. "And the staff is very professional and friendly," adds the regular donor.

It's easy too.  Click here for video and audio of previous drives at St. Joseph Parish.

The mobile unit will be parked in the back lot of the parish hall from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. March 11, 2011. Please consider giving this most precious gift.

When you arrive, come to the Ministry Center and check in. Walk-ins are always welcome. For more information or to make an appointment, please call 815-939-3573. Learn the facts about donation, visit heartlandbc.org.

You can be the answer to someone's prayers!

Every 'drop' counts

(Left to right) Regular blood donor and active parishioner Fran Crews and Sister Denise Glazik, OP, blood drive coordinator, ask people to 'drop' by during a blood drive at St. Joseph Parish in Bradley.

Thanks so much to the men and women who

have graciously donated blood at St. Joseph

Parish. They truly have given the gift of life.
