Based in the Diocese of Peoria, the TEC retreat is a three-day
experience based on Christ’s dying, rising, and ascending into
glory. It delves into prayer, reconciliation, Eucharist,
discipleship and love and explores the serious questions of life.

The bigger picture is that those who attend a TEC weekend in Peoria
will be able to help start TEC in the Joliet Diocese. These
particular programs are open to 16-21 year olds. Cost $75.00.
Provide own transportation. The upcoming retreats St. Joseph
Parish's Youth Ministry will be attending will be announced soon.
Anyone
who is interested in attending an extended trip, such as TEC, CHWC,
YLC, or learning more about them should attend the registration and
information meeting Sunday November 22, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the
Ministry Center with at least one parent. At this meeting we will
share our faith, prepare for our journey, go over details about each
trip, and fundraising. Teens and parents are expected to attend all
meetings, and participate in fundraising, and mini-ministries. Fill
out the attached form and return it with your deposit by the
registration deadline. |
