Each of the Participating Businesses offers gift cards at a discount. The Manna group then sells the cards at face value.

Half of the discounted percentage goes to a ministry designated by the buyer and the remainder goes to a general parish fund.

Note to school families: Did you know that you can complete a Manna Order Sheet and send it to school with your child, along with your check, and we will fill your order and send it home with your child? New school families: Did you know that when you purchase Manna Gift Cards half of the discount will go toward your tuition? It may not look like a lot, however, if you get in the habit of purchasing Manna for groceries, gas, restaurants  and clothing, it can really add up to quite a bit over the school year, especially if you  recruit your family members, friends and neighbors to help you. Those who take time to purchase the gift cards, especially the regulars, are giving back to their parish community. It doesn’t cost a thing. It’s an easy way to help. Many just pick up cards as they need them … like for going out for dinner over the weekend. Others think long term and integrate the program into their regular budgets. They purchase cards to buy groceries, to fill their gas tanks and for other necessities.

Some people do all their grocery shopping with Manna gift cards. In fact, Kroger allows customers to add money back onto cards at the store and the discounted percentages automatically go back to the parish.
